Project Celebration hosts ‘Roses on the River’ event in Natchitoches for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Project Celebration hosted its Roses on the River event along the Natchitoches riverfront to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event brought community members together to show support for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Project Celebration advocate Shaye Walker and students from Northwestern State University helped organize the event. Members of the Natchitoches Police Department attended the gathering in support of the event and its mission.

Project Celebration thanked those who attended, assisted with organizing the event and provided sponsorships. Roses on the River was open to community members interested in showing support for individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
