Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Very Reverend Michael Craig Scott.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kramer Funeral Home, located at 2905 Masonic Drive in Alexandria, Louisiana. There will be no Rosary during visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, located at 626 4th Street in Alexandria. A Rosary will be prayed prior to Mass.

Burial will follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the Catholic Cemetery in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Family, friends and members of the community are asked to keep Father Scott and all who mourn his passing in their prayers.

“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.”
