The past Saturday, Natchitoches was transformed into the Mad Hatters Ball as the Crewe of Dionysos rolled in their annual Mardi Gras Parade with Grand Marshall Joy Dove, a 2016 American Idol Contestant. The parade started at the River South, wound its way up South Drive, across the Keyser St. Bridge and down Jefferson and Front St before ending on Church St. The floats delighted the crowd as costumed crewe members threw beads and trinkets to the dancing and enthusiastic crowd.
