Natchitoches Parish Fire District 4 in Provencal, along with State Police, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Natchitoches Parish EMS, and Provencal Police responded to a two vehicle head-on collision with injuries on Hwy. 117 south of Provencal Nov. 30 at 2:33 p.m. Cedar’s Towing and Bayonne’s Towing handled the vehicle recovery.

The 40-year-old female operator from Pitkin, of the 2016 Honda SUV, was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The 28-year-old female operator from Natchitoches, of the 2001 Lincoln Navigator, was transported to the NRMC with moderate, non-life threatening injuries.

A passenger in the Lincoln Navigator, who also received minor injuries, was also transported to the hospital.
