The Greater Central Louisiana Realtors Association made their annual contribution to a Northwestern State University scholarship fund that is matched by the NSU Foundation to support local students with financial need. The scholarship was initiated by the Natchitoches Board of Realtors, which merged with the Central Louisiana Board of Realtors to cover Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Evangeline, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides and Winn parishes. Two scholarships are annually presented to a male student and female student ranked as a sophomore or above seeking a degree in engineering technology with preference given to students from Natchitoches Parish. The students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average or better.
