Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s deputies and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 9 responded to a gas line break near the intersection of Louisiana Highway 480 and Tally Street in the Town of Campti on Wednesday, October 21. Emergency personnel were on the scene as of 10:40 a.m.

Atmos Energy crews were also on site addressing the gas line break, and Natchitoches Haz-Mat had been notified of the incident.

Atmos Energy estimated that repairs would take at least two hours.
